Bruce is afraid of hurting people, and wants to go into seclusion, but Tony doesn’t want to lose track of him. Also, hey, he’s got this satellite that needs some testing, but it only requires a one-man crew, and it’s got a direct link to his labs.
But Tony’s not going to let him be completely alone. He makes some (kind of slapshod, he admits) robots to keep him company, because hey, they can always be rebuilt. And he plans on contacting him himself.
And hey, while he’s up there, Tony can see once and for all if there’s any movie bad enough to make Bruce Hulk out.
